Service and Repair Ducted Air Conditioner
The Tighes Hill Project: The client called our office to report that the airflow from their ducted air conditioner inverter was very poor to the master bedroom.

The Solution
We arrived on site and found the outdoor unit was noisy. Upon inspection, we found the compressor to be sounding very unhealthy on start up and when running. We discovered the compressor case temperature was high but the suction temperature was good,
The pump down test took longer than usual (approximately 60 seconds) but all the electrical tests were okay.
We then inspected the master bedroom where the issue was first detected. We found the neck going to the master bedroom to be 95% closed. The opened blade was at 45% and relaying to the duct bag which was kinking in on itself. The system was leaking water. We blew both the main and safety drains out and retightened the hose clamps. We then replaced the compressor and the problem was fixed.
