Supply and Install Fujitsu Split System Air Conditioner

The Waratah Project: The upstairs bedroom air conditioning system of this home had been served faithfully by a Carrier air conditioner for many years. However, the noise and servicing had become too much. So the client decided on installing a new more efficient and quieter aircon.

The Solution

Our inspection time was set and upon arrival, we immediately noticed the old Carrier a/c system outdoor unit that was hung on the wall. We inspected the bedroom that was on the second floor and was going to be where we installed the air conditioner. We decided that the Fujitsu ASTH09KNCA Airstage model would efficiently heat and cool a room this size. This model offers 2.5 kW of cooling power and 3.2 kW of heating power.

Installing the new air conditioner

The indoor air conditioner unit was placed high in the corner of the bedroom wall that faced the outside. We ran all the cabling through the wall to where the outdoor unit was installed. Installing the outdoor unit was tricky as it was on the second floor and had an angled awning. However, using safety harnesses we installed the outdoor a/c without any problems.

Electrical Fitting Waratah

After the indoor and outdoor door units were fixed into place we had to connect the electricity. We employ certified electricians to execute all electrical wiring tasks including connecting to the power board. Once all the electricity was isolated the electrician connected and then tested the systems to check there weren’t any faults. Once this task was complete we enabled the electricity to power the units.
