Supply New Fujitsu Split System Air Conditioner

The Stockton Project: The client wanted to upgrade their air conditioning system that was heating and cooling their small living area. The current Daikin unit has serviced them for over 20 years but was showing signs of wear.

Task – Decommission and remove the current Daikin air conditioner. Supply a new Fujitsu split system air conditioner with Rust Guard protection.

The Solution

Our first task was to arrange an inspection time to ascertain which air conditioning system would be suitable. The area of the home they wanted to heat and cool was a small living room that had doors at either end.

For this job, we selected the Fujitsu ASTH22KNTA split system which has a cooling capacity of 6.0 kW and a heating capacity of 6.5 kW. This system would be adequate to heat and cool the living space.

Before any work was commenced our electrician cut the power to both the indoor and outdoor airconditioning units. For legal and safety reasons we employ certified electricians when we are performing electrical work that includes wiring and connecting the cables to the power board.

Decommissioning the old air conditioner and installing the new air conditioner

Once the electrical power had been cut we decommissioned and removed both the indoor and outdoor units. This included removing all the electrical wiring. We take these units back to the workshop and break them down for spare parts.

The indoor unit fit perfectly into the space where the previous unit had sat. We also placed the outdoor unit onto the existing concrete pad. We added a Rust Guard protector to the outdoor unit as insurance against rust.
